Zach Maier is a 2012 RHP/1B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Huntsville, OH who attends Indian Lake. Maier has a projectable pitcher's body. Overhand release, wraps in back, arm works fast, velocity and arm speed don't correlate, throws strikes consistently, solid downer CB with late action, projects with added strength. Also hit, showed some tools at the plate, good balanced swing, good extension. He is an excellent student.
