Matt Curley is a 2006 shortstop from Hyde Park, MA. Curley has a solid 5'9", 165 pound frame and was named to the Underclass Top Prospect Team as a middle infielder. He hits in a relaxed, controlled stance with a high leg kick. He is short and quick to the ball, and showed good gap to gap power hitting many line drives with solid contact. In the field, he displayed good fielding actions and threw 73 mph across the infield. Curley showed that he is a player to watch for 2006. Matt is a strong student.
