Jake Porter is a 2010 RHP/OF with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame from Old Hickory, TN who attends Mt Juliet HS. Slender young body, projects. High take away, tall delivery, 3/4's release, throws downhill, FB to 85 mph with some running action, throws both CB and SL, both solid pitches, SL has sharp late break at 77 mph, CB bites hard when down, also throws workable change up. Good present stuff with potential to improve. Also swung the bat well, has some bat speed. Excellent student.
