Ryan Penaflor is a 2012 3B/P/OF with a 5'11'', 175 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Salpointe Catholic HS. Good athletic body for his age, some present strength. Good looking swing, shifts weight well, shows bat speed, ball comes off the barrell hard, present gap to gap power with more to come. Plays both OF and 3B, aggressive fielder, has nice arm strength, charges balls aggressively. Also pitched, full wind up, hard fall off to 1B side, FB to 77 mph from over the top release, big 12/6 curveball. Good student.
