Alex Gonzalez is a 2010 RHP/3B with a 6'2'', 160 lb. frame from Delray Beach, FL who attends Boca Raton HS. Lean lanky build, long legs, projects well. Easy arm action, ball comes out of hand well, high 3/4's release, FB to 87 mph, should throw harder with maturity, CB is solid pitch, downer spin with occ hard bite, good feel for change, nice sink/fade on change. Pitches to the corners/has an idea. Showed power potential at the plate, leveraged swing, some bat speed. Good student. Young pitcher to watch carefully.
