DC Arendas is a 2012 MIF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Greensboro, NC who attends Northern Guilford HS. Strong physical build, room to get stronger still. Left handed hitter, upright stance with narrow base, recognizes pitches well, swings hard and generates bat speed, ball comes off hard, line drive swing plane, very good game at bats. 7.13 runner, plays light on his feet defensively, accurate arm, charges the ball well, soft enough hands, profiles as either an offensive second baseman or third baseman. Verbal Commitment to South Carolina, fits the Gamecock's type perfectly.
