Philip Pfeifer is a 2011 LHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Farragut HS. Medium frame, strong developed lower half. Fast paced multi-piece delivery, repeats it astoundingly well, plus/plus deception, effort at release, 3/4's release point, good angle to the plate. Pitched at 88 mph, touched 91 mph when needed, 78 mph curveball has hard power break, sharp and consistent, change up also a good pitch, throws strikes to spots, works quickly and ahead in the count. Statistically perhaps the most dominant pitcher in HS baseball. Good student, verbal commitment to Vanderbilt. Selected to the Aflac All-American team.
