Defensively, Spinelli is a good receiver and has arm strength. He is a solid catch and throw guy from behind the plate with clean transfers. At the plate, Spinelli has a powerful swing and makes consistent solid contact. He has quick hands with bat speed. He has present gap to gap pop with more power potential in there. Spinelli pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a good arm action. He has good mechanics and consistently works down in the zone. He has good command of 3 pitches and stays around the plate. Good student.

KC Spinelli is a 2008 C/P/OF with a 6'2'', 175 lb. frame from Temecula, CA, who attends Great Oak HS. Young player with a lean, athletic and projectable frame. Defensively he has excellent feet behind the plate and blocks balls with ease. He threw 70 mph on his throws to second base showing great accuracy to the bag. Spinelli also runs a good game behind the plate. Offensively he is a right handed hitter who hits from a straight away to slightly open and upright stance. He has very good plate discipline with awareness of the strike zone. Spinelli has a quick bat through the zone with a line drive swing plane. He has a very sound hitting approach with quiet actions and a fluid stroke. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a loose and easy arm. Shows good arm speed with minimal effort, and stays balanced over the rubber. Spinelli has good control of both his pitches. His fastball topped out at 78 mph with good arm side run, and he mixed in a looping curveball with a 12/6 break. He has projectable velocity with upside, and did not allow a hit in his 1 IP. He is also a good student.
