Kasey Ko -- Ko is a big, strong switch-hitter from Hawaii who showed us good swing fundamentals and potential excellent power projection. From the right side Ko has a nice balanced set up with limited load and the ability to get his hands to the ball quickly. It’s more of a gap to gap line drive swing. Left handed, Ko has a bit more extension and length to his swing that’s going to give him more loft power but his raw bat speed isn’t quite as good and he tends to hit around the ball occasionally from that side. They are 2 different swings but both can be effective. Ko showed us the arm strength to play third base in the future. His bat is a big tool and will get him to a very high level even as a 1st baseman if need be. Profiles well as a possible catcher down the road. Very interesting follow. Kasey is a good student.
