2009 Northwest Top Prospect Showcase
Jordan Halstead is a 2010 1B/3B/P with a 6'2'', 190 lb. frame from Bremerton, WA who attends Olympic. Tall and athletic with present strength. Shows good footwork around 1B, circles ball and fields out front, accurate arm across diamond. Good look at plate, short hand load, lots of opposite field contact, shows extension in swing, one handed finish, could drive balls with more use of lower half. Slower paced delivery on mound, methodical approach, around the zone, forces contact. Good student.
