Joseph Herrmann is a 6-0, 190 lb sophomore right handed pitcher from Georgia with strong frame and developed legs. He showed a 85fb,76sl, and 77ch. Herrmann's arm is loose and works well, although he has some effort out front. His fastball is heavy and has nice sinking and running action from a high 3/4's arm slot. A RH hitter who can hit. He has a line drive swing plane with college bat speed and very strong hands. Gets good power even though he could have better lower 1/2 rotation. He has a short quick stroke Coaches love to see. There is some lift in his swing and like most good hitters, he does like the ball in. Joseph ran a 8.03 sixty and a 4.99 home to first time. Around the bag at first base he showed ave hs actions. with short compact arm arch. Shows above ave hs command of all 3 pitches. FB shows good arm side run and he does use his lower half well. He pitched in the Top Prospect game. National Level potential.
