Jeremie Cook is a 2006 left handed pitcher from Venice, Florida. At a solid 6'1" he has good strength for his size and age. He threw three shutout innings in Fort Myers, allowing only one hit while striking out two hitters. Cook’s pitching mechanics are pretty smooth from a standard ¾’s arm slot. His fastball was in the 76-79 mph range along with a 62-64 mph curveball and 71 mph change up. He's athletic, runs well with good instincts. He could end up being a big surprise at the next level.
