Harris showed us good second baseman actions and we think there is a place for him at the next level there. He swung a quick bat for his size and as he fills out and gains the speed, strength and experience over the course of another year he will be an interesting sign for a College in need of a good second baseman. He showed a line drive swing and made contact consistently. He ran 7.24 in the 60 but his last 30 were the yards that slowed him down. We saw him run the bases well, including 4.55 seconds from home to first. He showed good actions defensively and 80 mph arm strength that will play at the next level right now from second base. He can touch 80 mph on the hill but all of our scouts liked his athleticism and were impressed with his quick feet and soft hands tailor made for 2B.
