Raul Rivera is a 2009 RHP with a 6'3'', 185 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends San Vicente de Paul. Tall lean good pitchers build. Pitches from 3/4 arm slot, high leg kick, FB has very good life, up to 92 at the Metrodome. Occasional cutting and sinking action, loose fast arm, effortless delivery, 10 to 4 break on CB, gets hitter out with his lively FB, gets a lot of ground balls. Highest level 2009 pitching prospect with special fastball. He will be well known in scout meetings by next June.
