2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Joseph Giacchino is a 2010 OF/2B with a 6'0'', 168 lb. frame from West Chester, PA who attends Malvern Prep. Joseph has an athletic build with some room to fill out. At the plate Joseph has good raw hitting tools from the left side with good bat speed and hand quickness. He does not get a lot of body in his swing and could really drive the ball more consistently with some adjustments. In the outfield Joseph is quick to the ball with solid all-around actions. He has a short arm action that best projects in left field. Joseph is a solid student that should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
