2003 Northeast Underclass Showcase
Potter is a slick infielder with athleticism that far exceeds his time in the 60. The 7.40 he posted was on a slow track and on an injured ankle that we did not find out about until we selected him for the Top Prospect game. By that time he already showed us excellent infield actions and a playable arm. His glove was one of the best and his body is projectable with a 5 foot 11 frame and just 155 pounds. He appears to be young with a lot of growing to do. His swing was excellent and also projects well. He hit line drives all over the place and he has athletic actions at the plate too. He is a good player that we think has the chance to play at a very high level down the road. Jason is a good student.
