Throwing velocities were lower than normal due to extreme weather conditions at this showcase. Some of the pitching velocities were 4 to 5 mph slower than what we have previously recorded in ideal conditions. Weather conditions were not favorable for peak performance in all areas.

Light on feet for size defensively, received ball confidently, clean actions, very good arm strength, long arm stroke but under control, defense has steadily improved last two years. Hits with hands tight to body, reverse toe tap load, keeps weight over back side, very strong hands, shows plus bat speed, ball jumps hard, lots of raw power with more to come with better hip use in swing, potential middle of the order hitter at the next level. Plays hard. Good student, signed with Mississippi.

Excellent arm strength, best raw defensive tool, more flexqability to stay quick/compact behind plate, young catcher with time to improve, agile at 1B with very good hands. Open stance/approach hitting, good strength, switch hitter, smoother swing LH'd with some loft, better timing LH'd, will show big power at times. Could create some serious draft interest. Big time arm strength, good throwing mechanics, receiving improving quickly, 1.93 best pop. Will Allen is a 2010 C/1B with a 6'2'', 205 lb. frame from Gainesville, FL who attends Buchholz high school. Allen has a strong athletic body, a very strong arm and quick release. He has the potential to be an outstanding DI/Pro defensive catcher. He also creates excellent bat speed and showed a good gap to gap power swing in LA. His power potential is obvious. Allen is a good student and he's going to keep improving his already outstanding ability. He should be recruited heavily and draw interest from the MLB scouts over the next year.
