Jake Sharrock is a 5-9/165, (2007), MIF from Rossville, GA with 7.21 sixty speed and 4.63 home to first base time. Jake is a SS with exceptional arm strength, with 84if arm strength. Jake has very good range and enough arm strength to throw anyone out from anywhere on the field. He showed quick , clean transfers with good soft hands. A swift, 7.21 sixty runner, he can get down the line. Jake put on a show in bp with very quick bat speed and hand strength. A RH hitter with a open stance he showed college bat speed with a line drive swing plane. He has strong hands and a great approach at the plate. Shows very good gap to gap line drive power. He can hit and has big power that should only get better. Jake also threw off the mound with 85fb, 67cb, and 70 change. He throws from a high 3/4 slot with quick arm speed. He has a short , compact arm action. Showed good life on his cb with ave life on fb. Strong lower 1/2 helps him drive the ball in low. Very good looking pitching prospect. Named to Top Prospect game. National level potential.

Sharrock is a 5-9 sophomore infielder from Georgia. He has good strength in his hands and arms and athletic actions overall. Sharrock hits from an open stance with just a little loading action and an aggressive, hard swing that’s looking to pull the ball. He will go out of the zone for some pitches but jumped on some fastballs when he got a chance. The ball comes off Sharrock’s bat pretty well. Sharrock showed good all around skills on defense. He has sound fundamentals, good hands and showed good arm strength during game action. Sharrock also threw 2 2/3’s very effective innings on the mound, showing good arm strength for a young player. He topped out at 81 mph with a short, quick arm action and also threw a low 60’s curveball. Sharrock is also a good student.
