2011 Pitcher/Catcher Indoor Showcase
Jacob Shike is a 2011 RHP/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Whitestown, IN who attends Lebanon HS. Athletic build with good present strength, especially in the lower 1/2. Full hands over head delivery, lands way open with his lower half and falls off hard, over the top release point, full deep arm circle. Upper 70's fastball to 79 mph, mostly straight, short soft slider action, small downer shape. Needs delivery adjustments to take the next step forward. Open stance hitting, pull approach, some raw bat speed, occasional lift.
