Ian Parry is a 2006 RHP/IF/C from Naples, Florida, with a 6'0", 170 lb. frame. Parry showed well both offensively, and on the mound. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot on the mound with a short arm arch on the backside. His fastball topped out at 82 mph and the pitch jumped on hitters at the last minute. He also mixed in a tight and late breaking off-speed pitch that would be categorized as a slurve. He pitched 2 innings at the event, and only gave up 1 hit while striking out 4. Parry is also a right handed hitter with a balanced swing. He uses the whole field, and has good bat speed. Parry makes solid contact and has some raw power to all fields that is projectable. He has a good load and rhythm in his swing, and he went 3-7 during the event. Parry is a smart player with good instincts for the game and he anticipates well. He is a solid two way prospect that is a solid follow.
