Jackson is a 6-3, 200 lb. 2006 right handed pitcher from Coto de Caza, California with a tall long frame. Jackson has a nice loose arm and throws from the low 3/4 arm slot. Jackson threw an 82 mph fastball that had real good movement and sink. He also throws a 73 mph slider and an 74 mph change up. Jackson's change up is his best off speed pitch right now, but his slider shows signs of developing into a real good pitch if he finishes it off a bit more. Jackson attacks hitters and works very quick on the mound. He is a groundball pitcher and got a lot of groundballs at this event. Defensively, he made a great running play at this event. At the plate he starts with high hands and looks to pull the ball. Jackson stays back well and had good game swings. Solid player.
