David Pyle is a 2009 OF/P with a 5'9'', 160 lb. frame from Crestview, FL who attends Crestview HS. Slender build. Nice hitting fundamentals, balanced, quick hands, solid contact all fields, knows how to hit, will improve with strength. 6.87 runner, some outfield arm strength. Also pitches, 81 mph FB, good command of all pitches. Good all around player. Excellent student.

David Pyle is a 2009 OF/P with a 5'9'', 160 lb. frame from Crestview, FL who attends Crestview HS. He has a medium build with some developing strength. Pyle is a very good runner with 6.9 speed and live, quick actions. He has a mature and polished approach at the plate that takes advantage of his tools well. Pyle has a short and quick swing with quick hands to the ball. He makes solid contact and moves the ball around and can go the other way with some authority. It's a high average approach that takes advantage of his speed and quick twitch wrists/hands. Pyle looks like he'd fit well as a top of the order hitter who can handle the bat and get on base. Pyle didn't show as much fundamental polish in the outfield but his speed will help his range and his arm strength plays. Pyle also pitched some and threw 76 mph from a high 3/4's release point with good command. He is an excellent student.
