Chad James is a 2009 LHP/OF with a 6'4'', 200 lb. frame from Yukon, OK who attends Yukon. James used a Hi 3/4's release point and everyone of his fastballs was 91-93 in his two inning stint in Cedar Rapids. His curveball has plus 2 plane break and shows the potential to be a plus pitch. His change also is a very good with a chance to be his third high quality offering. James has really come on strong this spring and with his excellent three pitch arsenal he should be a very early pick this year. He has signed with Oklahoma State.

Chad James is a 2009 LHP/OF with a 6'3'', 190 lb. frame from Yukon, OK who attends Yukon. James has an excellent pitchers build with a smooth arm action. He pitches in the high 80's to low 90's with plus pitchability. He has an excellent three pitch mix which includes a change and curveball. His change is deceptive with good action and his curveball has good bite. He has good command of all of his pitches and is a complete pitcher. James is a top 2009 LHP and a very interesting prospect for next years draft..
