Gregory Goshgarian is a 2009 3B/2B/OF with a 5'9'', 190 lb. frame from West Hills, CA who attends Chaminade Prep. He has a compact, stout build on an average/smallish frame. Goshgarian likes to hit. He showed an aggressive hitting nature in BP and in the games he drove the ball well, particularly to the opposite field. His approach is quiet and simple. Though he is not big, he does have some power generated in a compact stroke. His hands appeared to be quite strong. He runs hard and plays hard. Goshgarian is also solid in the infield. His hands work well and he has a nice release, with the ball coming out of his hand well. He plays low to the ground and showed some actions. It looks like Goshgarian spends a lot of time playing the game and he has the type of hard nosed game that plays well in college. He is an excellent student and a 'gamer' with a pretty high skill level.
