Mychal Harris is a 2008 OF with a 5'8'', 165 lb. frame from Stockton, CA who attends Bear Creek HS. He has a small frame witj athletic proportions. Harris has a nice offensive set-up, with hands that work and a flat swing plane. Most impressive about Harris with the bat was his aggressive trigger. He has no trouble getting to the pull side and showed bat speed. His top hand is pretty strong and dominant in his swing and that will have to be adjusted against better pitching. Harris made good barrel contact. He is on the plate and quite confident at the plate. Defensively Harris is a solid fielder with good fundamentals. He goes to the ball well, with aggressiveness and showed off a solid arm. Harris does not have big tools or a physical body but he does play hard and his aggressive nature helps him play above his tools.
