2004 Unsigned Seniors Showcase
Greg Steen: Steen is a 5-11, 195 lb. infielder with a mature body and thickness in the lower half. He showed some defensive ability at third base with nice actions and an accurate throwing arm. Although he is a primary third baseman, Steen showed better arm strength and some quality secondary pitches off the mound. He was 78-80 mph with his fastball, but threw a 75 mph cutter that had very sharp life and mixed in a low 70’s change up that had nice sinking action.
