Alfredo Carrillo -- Carrillo is a young middle infielder with a slender upper body and more strength in his lower half. He has a good set up at the plate and a short, compact swing. Carrillo has surprising strength in his hands and likes to jump on the inside pitch and pull it. He hit the ball well against live pitching. Carrillo’s defensive tools profile him to second base. His actions are smooth and confident and he has a good quick release to his throws. Very good line drive type hitter with a good feel for the game. Alfredo is a good student.

Alfredo showed some good actions up the middle at 2B. His transfer is quick and he can turn the doubleplay. He does everything well defensively but could improve his speed. He has a line drive swing that works around the ball a little. His arm is playable across the infield. He is just an 05' and will be a real interesting player to follow as he gets older.
