Greg Bond is a 2006 right handed pitcher from Pasadena, California. At 6'5", 210 lbs., he has an extra large frame and build with long arms and legs with room for added muscle in the future. Bond has a projectable pitcher's body that has present strength with more to come. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with good downward angle toward the plate, and tailing action when his fastball is down. Bond has some correctable delivery flaws, that when smoothed out, will add velocity and fine tune his command. Bond's fastball will occasionally have a cutting action. He is tough on right handed hitters, and will run in on the hands of left handed hitters as well. Bond is a young kid with some pitchability and action on his fastball. He should dominate at his present level and spark a lot of interest next year.
