Nicholas Octavi is a 2009 C with a 5'11'', 210 lb. frame from Port Saint Lucie, FL who attends Treasure Coast. Nicholas has a thick well-developed build. At the plate Nicholas makes consistent solid contact and turns on the ball easy. His swing gets a little too choppy at times and he needs to work on smoothing out his hitting mechanics some. Behind the plate Nicholas has a good release with an accurate arm. He has a good feel for the game and is a solid receiver. Nicholas is a player that should attract the attention of some smaller level college programs.
