Terrence Moore is a 2008 C/OF/P with a 6'1'', 165 lb. frame from Goshen, NY who attends Goshen HS. He has a young, lean build and looks like he is just beginning to fill out. Moore is a versatile player and played all over the field during the showcase. His defensive tools both behind the plate catching and in the outfield were fundamentally raw but Moore has the physical tools to develop at any position. He ran 7.22 hand timed on a slow track and runs well. He shows next level arm strength both from behind the plate and in the outfield as well. It's a matter of repetitions and coaching for him to improve defensively. With the bat, Moore hits out of a squat stance and gets out to his front side quickly. He has a short, line drive swing and is looking to pull the ball, which means he's out around it frequently. Moore's bat speed will improve with strength, he has quick hands that are a positive for him. Moore also pitched a bit at the end of the showcase and his arm was probably tired from playing all the different positions. He threw 78-80 mph with a pretty good 71 mph curveball. Moore is also a good student.
