James Miller is a 2008 outfielder with a 5'10'', 175 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, California, who attends Ocean View High School. Miller has a lean and projectable frame. Defensively he moves to the ball well in the outfield with fluid actions. He has a long arm action with arm speed. Miller has a quick release and he gets carry on his throws. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from a crouched stance with a toe tap trigger. He is an aggressive hitter who throws the bat head well. He shows bat speed through the zone, and he stays balanced through his swing. Miller gets extension out front, and he made hard contact in game action. Has the ability to hit the ball back up the middle. Miller is a very good student as well.
