Baldwin is an exceptionally thin and slender 6-2 left handed pitcher from Pennsylvania. He throws from a free wheeling delivery with a smooth, although short, arm stroke and minimal effort. Baldwin's fastball was in the 72-74 mph range with good left hander's running action with some cross body action and he's likely to add more velocity if he were able to gain some strength. He pitched primarily off his curveball, which was 64-66 mph and had some sharpness to it when he stayed above the ball on release. Baldwin also mixed in a 66 mph change up. Baldwin mixed up his pitches and threw strikes consistently. Baldwin showed good running speed during drills by running a 7.21 60 but isn't strong enough yet to swing the wood bat with any authority.
