Eric Cos is a 2007 outfielder from Coral Gables, Florida who attends Belen Jesuit High School. He has a strong athletic build and is a solid overall athlete at 6'1", 170 pounds. Eric is a switch hitter with an easy left handed swing. He gets solid extension from both sides of the plate but has a little bit better bat speed from the right side. He has good leverage in his swing and has nice overall hitting tools. Cos showed very good range in the outfield. He has raw arm strength and good tools in the outfield. Eric is a solid college level prospect.

Eric Cos is a 6' 160 pound 2007 outfielder from Belen Jesuit High School in Coral Gables, Florida. He is tall with a slender build. Eric is a switch hitter who has a similar approach from both sides of the plate. He has good quickness in his swing and is a pull hitter. He has good strength in his hands and makes solid line drive contact to all fields. He showed some power especially to his pull side. Cos has god balance in the field and is very good in the outfield. He has above average arm strength which he showed by throwing 79 mph from the outfield during the workout. His throws were accurate with good carry. Eric is a plus runner who ran a 6.89 60.

Cos is a young sophomore switch-hitting outfielder from Miami. At 128 lbs he was one of the lightest listed players at the event but he did a very nice job of showing us that he had some wiry strength in his frame to build his skills around. Cos had a very nice swing from both sides of the plate in batting practice. He had a good load and rhythm from the right side and some bat speed. Cos’ swing from the left side was quicker and a bit more level and he centered the ball solidly both ways. During games he pulled off more than in batting practice but still made good contact. He should definitely continue to improve offensively as he gets stronger. Cos’ showed good first step quickness on the bases and good instincts. He threw 74 mph from the outfield with a long throwing stroke.
