Nolan Clark is a 2009 C/1B/P with a 6'2'', 205 lb. frame from Mission Viejo, CA who attends Capistrano Valley. Athletic build, fast-twitch ability, lots of hitting tools to work with, shows very good bat speed, 2B off the opposite field wall during the game, strength in swing, pop to all fields, hard line-drive contact, good raw arm strength behind the plate, quick release, good catch and throw potential, big upside, long arm action on the mound, good arm speed, life to fastball, finishes well to the plate, fairly tight 11 to 5 curveball, clean athletic delivery, uses lower half well, high-level two-way prospect, solid student.
