Trevor Godinez is a 2010 OF/2B with a 5'9'', 135 lb. frame from Anaheim Hills, CA who attends Damien. Godinez has a small frame with a smaller build. He has a high waist with lean look to him. Defensively, Godinez uses a slinging arm action on his throws and gets extension. He has some body control in the outfield with developing actions. At the plate, Godinez is a switch hitter. He has a simple hitting approach from both sides and stays quiet in the box. From the right side, Godinez uses a no load approach and uses his hands well in his swing. He swings on a flat path and should hit lots of line drives. From the left side, Godinez uses a no load approach and has better bat speed from this side. He starts slightly open with a short stroke. He looks to keep his hands inside the baseball and should develop well on both sides of the plate. Godinez is a young player with lots of time to mature and improve his tools.
