Linder, Matt- We have seen Matt many times in the past 2 years. He’s an athletic RHP whose going to throw in the 90’s in the near future. He aggravated a minor finger injury in Ft. Myers and was limited to just one inning pitched. Possibly due to his sore finger, his mechanics looked a bit out of whack. He appeared to throw with more effort than when we last saw him. He appeared to be in a rush to reach the 90’s. Until he aggravated his finger, he did show 88-89 MPH with life. His breaking ball looked promising and the changeup was in the plus range. Overall, he looked to be the same Linder that projects off the charts , only this time he appeared to have a little more violence in his delivery. Bottom line, he’s going to be very good and has yet to commit to a college. He could go early enough in the draft so that there may be no college baseball in his future. Then again, he has the potential to become an early pick later out of college.

Projects out of sight. Tall RHP with consistent high 88-89 fastball, room for more. One of the top prospects from Canada.

Linder is an extremely projectable big right-hander. He is athletic and his arm works very well. He topped at 89 in Tropicana and we think he is no where near his potential. His slider looks very good and his change shows promise. This kid is a big time prospect in waiting. It's possible he could develop into a high pick by June. If not he can pitch at the highest levels of College and go pro later on.

Linder projects very well. He has that long lean body and his arm works great. He throws mid 80s now, but he has a big future ahead of him. Don't be surprised when you see his name on the top "03" prospect lists.
