Steven's is one of the very best lefties in all of high school baseball. He's a big strong guy with good mechanics and a great arm. He will end up throwing even harder than the low 90s we have seen. His 91 mph fastball in Ft Myers showed outstanding life. His breaking ball is equally impressive in the mid 70s. He should end up with a big power slider. He also throws a good sinking changeup. The arm works very well and real quick. His command has been good each time we've seen him. There's a lot of top pitchers who could be considered first round potential this year. Stevens is definitely one of those top pitching prospects. He just keeps getting better and better. He can really hit too, but who cares! This kid is the real deal and we love the way he operates.

He showed us a hard 4 seamer and running 2 seamer as he worked the corners, mostly away. He has a long torso and strong lower half that generate good power. He used a 72 mph curve sparingly and showed good arm speed with his
