Billingsley is an excellent, very strong, athlete. He has one of the nation's most powerful arms. We've seen him up as high as 96 mph several times and that heater seems to explode. He throws several breaking balls, some might say too many, but they all work. We think his 83 mph slider will turn into a high 80s slider later on. His changeup is pretty good also.

Billingsly is a good athlete who has a magical right arm. He threw several pitches in the 90s and we've seen him as high as 95 before. He certainly is one of the top "03" prospects in America.

Billingsley showed a 93 mph fastball that we have seen even better but it was his hard off-speed pitches with outstanding command that caught a lot of scouts attention. 3 plus pitches in a junior is rare! He's also a plus runner who can really swing the bat.
