Eddie is one of the top 04 pitchers in the country. His fastball was 88-89 with late life in Ft Myers. His slider was filthy good in the low 80s. He has a good projectable body with outstanding arm action. Definite top prospect for 2004! Can pitch for any college in America and a definite pro draft prospect. Possibly a high draft pick if he continues to develop over the next year.

Morlan is a big time "04" prospect who really projects well. He has a good athletic body with room for more strength. In Ft Myers in January he topped out with 87 mph velocity. There's no question that he will throw in the 90+ range. His arm works real good out of his high 3/4 slot and he gets excellent life on his fastball. He also features a breaking ball/slurve/slider in the 76 mph range. It's a bit flat at times, but he's going to end up with a MLB slider down the road. He seems to have good command and he repeats his delivery very well. He's definitely a top level "04" that needs to be followed very closely. He dosn't have far to go to become a top draft guy in "04". He's already a top DI prospect in our eyes.

Very good looking athletic body. Could be a top prospect on the mound for 04. Nice delivery, arm action and real good stuff. Fastball up to 87, slider up to 78, change up to 76. Very good command of the strike zone.
