Javier Salas is a 2010 RHP that attends Christopher Columbus HS and resides in Coral Gables, FL with a 6'0", 167 lb. frame. Javier has a young athletic build with plenty of time to develop. On the mound Javier has a long arm action with good armside run. He is a low effort pitcher with consistent mechanics and projects well over the next few years. Javier throws alot of strikes with his fastball and did not really show much as far as breaking pitches are concerned. He is a great student and with time and development Javier could develop into a prospect that many colleges will take notice of.
