Dominic Diaz is a 2006 middle infielder from Enterprise, Alabama, with a 5'9", 140 lb. frame. Diaz has good actions in the middle infield with soft hands and good glove work. He is a right handed hitter with good balance in his swing. Diaz uses a knee lift trigger from a narrow stance and has solid bat speed. He is currently a slap type hitter that looks to make contact and put the ball in play. He does have some extra hand movement, but is quick to the ball when he has quiet hands. Diaz is an opposite field hitter that should be a contact hitter with good on base percentage. He is also a good student.

Dominic is a 2006 grad with a small frame and build, athletic proportioned with room for added muscle in the future. Shows good desire and lively actions, with added strength he has a chance to become a very good prospect. Good looking middle infield actions, sound foot work with sure hands. Likes to hike front leg and that makes him have perfect timing to make consistent contact. Has ability to get on top of fastballs and is knowlegable of the strike zone. Good smart player with a chance to be very good.
