Colby Hyatt is a 2007 RHP/IF/OF with a 6'1'', 185 lb. frame from Canyon Country CA, who attends Canyon. Hyatt has a good body with a solid build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a good arm action. Hyatt has smooth mechanics with arm speed. Hyatt has sink and armside run on his fastball, especially when down in the zone. He throws a 12/6 curveball with good spin. He mixes his pitches well and has good command of both fastball and curveball. Defensively, Hyatt moves well in the outfield and gets good jumps on balls. At the plate, Hyatt swings the bat well and has present gap to gap pop. He has a quick bat and uses his hands well in his swing. Good student.
