Christopher Kinnevy is a very strong right handed hitting 2005 catcher from New Jersey. He has some good raw bat speed and raw arm strength that could be developed further if he played the game downhill instead of uphill. He has a severe uppercut at the plate and when he connects it looks like he could hit the ball a long way. Kinnevy’s bat is on plane with the ball for such a short time, though, that solid contact is difficult. Kinnevy shows the same type of approach in throwing; he’s imbalanced to his back side and is throwing everything up hill. That said, Kinnevy has a lot of potential and does many things very well. He could really blossom at the next level. Christopher is a very good student.
