Vazquez is a medium built 5-11, 175 lb middle infielder from the Miami area. He shows nice infield actions with the ability to move through the ball and make accurate throws. Vazquez ran the 60 in 7.58 on the wet slow track and threw 77 mph in infield drills. At the plate, Vazquez hits from a no stride, no trigger approach with high hands and is looking to pull the ball. He generates some good bat speed. He is a bottom hand dominant hitter whose top hand flies off early at times. He could make some fundamental adjustments and be a special hitter due to his raw bat speed. Vasquez is a strong student as well. He can play at a high level.
