Taylor Hammond is a 2007 LHP from Olympia HS in Windermere, FL with an athletic 6'0", 175 lb. frame. At the plate Taylor shows good balance in his swing with a solid bat path and a strong upper half. Taylor is a very polished LHP that shows a short arm circle from a 3/4 arm slot and great command. He feautures a sharp 2 to 8 CB and has great feel for his off-speed pitches. Taylor has an advanced feel for the game, and could find himself attracting attention from several smaller schools.
