Scarminach is a junior right handed pitcher from South Carolina with a strong athletic body. He throws from a high ¾’s release point with a long arm action and good on-line finish. Scarminach’s fastball was 72-75 mph for 4 innings. His best pitch was a 62-65 mph curveball that had good bite and that Scarminach commanded well. He performed well, striking out 7 hitters and allowing only 4 hits. Can hit and runs well also.
