Paul Kilgas is a 2006 OF/2B from Neenah in Neenah, WI, with a 5'11'', 175 lb. frame. He ran the 60 in 7.28 and showed 77 mph arm strength from the outfield during drills. Kilgas charges the ball aggressively in the outfield and has a quick release. His arm strength would improve by closing off his body before he throws and not rushing quite as much. We liked his aggressiveness, though. Offensively, Kilgas hits out of an open stance and looks to pull the ball. He has some strength in his hands and got the bat head to the ball quickly. Kilgas was able to lay off pitches outside the zone and attack his pitch aggressively. He's a knowlegable hitter who should keep improving with strength and maturity. Kilgas is an outstanding student off the field.
