Max Kinney is a 2015 3B/C/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Johnson HS. Strong athletic build, room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, long aggressive swing with good hand quickness and bat speed, swings hard, looking to pull the ball, line drive swing plane but flashed pull power as well, can shorten his swing but has the hitting tools for the next level. 7.30 runner, plays multiple positions and shows good arm strength from all of them. Young footwork and foot quickness at all as well, overall tools might fit best behind the plate and have the most value at the college level. Bat will carry for the present. Good student.
