Sean Miller is a 2017 RHP/SS with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Newton, NJ who attends Pope John XXIII. Extra-large, athletic frame with long, lean limbs and room to fill out with added strength in the future. Primary right-handed pitcher, works with a long arm stroke through the backside with a three-quarter release. Easy set of mechanics with slight effort at release, gets on top of the ball ball. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, mostly true in life but maintained it throughout outing. Nice feel for slider, shows 10-4 shape at 77 mph from same arm slot. Short steps to the ball in the infield, gets on top of throws well showing a quick arm with nice arm strength across. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance and high hand set. Shows a patient approach with a short bat path to the ball. Gets the barrel through the zone and looks to lift. Opens front side early at times and creates consistent contact to pull side.
