Daniel McGehee is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from King William, VA who attends King William. Large, lean frame with long limbs and room to fill out with strength. Ran a 7.38 60 yard dash. Left handed pitcher who works from a balanced, full delivery with big leg kick. Throws from an easy, over the top arm slot with some downhill plane on his pitches. Sat 73-75 mph with his fastball, topping 76 mph which shows occasional arm side run. Has a nice feel for his curveball at 66 mph with 1/7 break and good depth. Flashed a change up which he buried low in the zone. Throws strikes and will continue to developed with added strength. Also hit from right side with a high hand set and very wide base. Has a line drive swing path and flashed line drive contact pull side.
